HIDDEN MECHANISMS

This year’s theme is Hidden Mechanism—things not seen.
Like how wheels and axles, despite hiding beneath the surface, are crucial for any machines to function, there are hardships and failures behind everyone’s stories that played a part in their success and character. In a world where social media mostly flaunts and showcases the triumphs of people, stories of mistakes and failures are not as visible. That is why in this Tedx event, as speakers share their vulnerabilities through their own stories, we hope that our audience may gain the courage to never give up, and to be inspired to try again.

TokYouth (TEDxShibuyaYouth & TEDxYouth@Tokyo) is a youth group organizing TEDx events for Tokyo youth to gather and exchange transformative ideas and experiences. We're building a vibrant community of passionate individuals dedicated to creating positive change.
